Accommodation
LaLula Wedding Venue can accommodate up to 92 guests, including the Bride and Groom, making it easy for close family and friends to experience the entire weekend with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many guests can the venue accommodate for a wedding?
Lalula can host up to 120 guests indoors or 150 guests outdoors for both the ceremony and the reception, allowing you to tailor your celebration to your preferred atmosphere—whether an intimate indoor affair or a spacious open-air gathering.
How many guests can stay overnight?
Lalula provides accommodation for up to 92 guests, including the bridal couple. This makes it easy for your closest family and friends to share in the full weekend celebration without needing to travel off-site.
Do you host weddings during the week?
Weddings are hosted on Fridays and Saturdays only. Special requests to host weddings during the week are welcome (no minimum guest count), but standard venue hire and fees apply with no discounts.
Is accommodation included in the venue hire?
No, accommodation is charged per person. The Honeymoon Suite is complimentary for the couple on their wedding night. The Gents Room is included in the venue hire for use on the wedding day (e.g. for photos), but accommodation for that room must be arranged separately. Please note that the contents of the fridges in both rooms work like a hotel minibar—any items used will be added to your bar tab on Sunday morning
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Unfortunately, no outside beverages (except bottled water) are permitted. All drinks must be purchased through our fully stocked bar (cash and card accepted). Toward the end of the evening, drinks and ice can be purchased to keep the celebration going after the bar closes. The bridal couple will be held responsible if outside drinks are brought onto the property.
Is there a backup plan for load shedding?
Yes, we have a generator on-site to ensure your celebration continues seamlessly.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Friday check-in: 14:00–20:00 | Saturday check-in: 12:00–15:00 | Sunday check-out: 08:00–11:00.

Do you allow outside décor or service providers?
Yes, external vendors such as photographers, hair and makeup artists, décor suppliers, and DJs are welcome. All service providers must report to reception upon arrival and follow Lalula’s venue guidelines. The bridal couple is responsible for ensuring their suppliers comply with these requirements.
What happens if I need to move my date?
While refunds aren’t issued, we’ll always do our best to accommodate a new date based on availability.
What time does the wedding reception end?
Last rounds are called at 23:30, and the reception must conclude by 00:00 (midnight) in accordance with nature reserve regulations. An additional overtime fee of R1,600 applies if guests are still in the hall after 00:15.
Can we have early access to the venue on Friday?
Yes, the couple and their vendors may arrange early setup access from Thursday afternoon or Friday morning by prior arrangement. Please contact 082 441 6808 to coordinate gate access.
Note: Lalula staff are not responsible for setup or breakdown of décor.
Do you allow day visits or venue viewings?
Yes, viewings are by appointment only and are usually available on Saturdays or Sundays between 09h00 and 12h00 (approximately 60 minutes). Tastings are not offered.
Are children allowed to stay over?
Yes, children aged 3–10 can stay with parents at a reduced rate, including breakfast. Children under 3 years stay and eat for free, and are not included in the catering count for the wedding.
Is breakfast included in the accommodation?
Yes, a warm, freshly prepared breakfast is included for the morning after each booked night.
Do rooms have air conditioning?
Rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. Guests are welcome to bring a portable fan if they prefer.
Do you provide towels and toiletries?
Each room includes towels and one soap bar. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own swimming towels.
Can we request extra nights before or after the wedding?
Yes, extra nights can be arranged depending on availability and will be quoted separately.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, we cater for vegan, vegetarian, and dairy-free guests. Halaal meals must be supplied by the bridal couple. All dietary requests must be sent to info@lalulavenue.co.za at least 14 days before the wedding.
Can we request special drinks not on the bar list?
Yes, special drink orders can be arranged up to two weeks before the wedding and must be fully paid for in advance. Any remaining stock will be yours to take home after the celebration.
Is there safe parking?
Yes, secure gated parking is available for all guests.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Due to our location in the nature reserve, network signal is limited. Wi-Fi is reserved for venue operations and not available to guests or vendors.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Most areas of the venue are accessible. Please inform us in advance of any specific accessibility needs.
When is payment due?
The final wedding balance and confirmed guest count must be finalised and paid 30 days before the wedding. All accommodation must be paid in full at least 7 days before check-in.
What is your accommodation cancellation policy?
- More than 31 days before: 90% refund (10% admin fee applies)
- 15–30 days before: 50% refund
- 14 days or less: no refund (full amount forfeited)
